Good evening, Marlins Fans! Here’s a look ahead for this week:

Monday, 05/23: Mini Parent Meetings & Merchandise Pick-up during age group practices

Tuesday, 05/24: Texas Swim Shop will be at practices to fit and sell the (optional) team suits

Wednesday, 05/25 – Friday, 05/27: Time Trials/Virtual Meet 1 during regular practice times

Wednesday

• 6 and unders - freestyle
• 7/8s and 9/10s – freestyle and backstroke
• 11/12 and up – above + begin individual medley timing

Thursday

• 6 and unders – continue freestyle
• 7/8s and 9/10s – breast and butterfly
• 11/12 and up – above + continue individual medley timing

Friday

• Make-up day for any times that were not captured on Wednesday & Thursday
• Relay Friday (practice…not timed)

Parents

• We understand it is a busy week! We are trying to have everything timed between Wednesday & Thursday but have reserved Friday as a make-up day. Please help us ensure that your swimmer is timed in all events by Friday.
• We might need assistance with timing during each age group practice and would appreciate your help.
• New stroke judges: this will be a great opportunity to shadow an experienced judge in a meet-like setting before taking your own shift. Please let Mindy know if you can shadow one or both days. Email [email protected].

We will send another Marlins Minute this week which will discuss meet preparations (arrival time, marking your swimmer, SwimTopia app, etc.). Our first home meet of the season is just over a week away on Tuesday, May 31^st. Yippee!
