Happy Saturday, Marlins!

We are looking forward to Meet of Champions on Monday, 06/27!  Attached please find the Division 2 schedule for each of the meets – 10 & Under (morning) and 11 & Up (afternoon).

For both meets:

• Location:
  • FBISD Don Cook Natatorium @ 16225 Lexington Blvd, Sugar Land, TX 77479
• Seating:
  • All tents will be set up outside on the right side between the nat and the baseball field.  D2 will be towards the front of the area. (see attached image)
  • Parents should set up outside in the team tent area. We are bringing a couple extra tents so we have some shade! Please do not set up inside the natatorium. There will be 2 division meets happening simultaneously with approximately 600 swimmers so seating inside is reserved for event watching only.
  • As a courtesy to other spectators, please do not stand at the rail while watching events.
• Absolutely no parents on deck, unless serving in a volunteer role. 😊 Speaking of – we still have 10 spots open (runners, timers, security, stroke judge...all of these have prime event viewing potential!!). We need you!  Please sign up at MOC volunteer opportunities.
• Awards will not be handed to individual swimmers. We will designate a parent volunteer to retrieve awards and distribute back at the team tent area.
• We will have a “healthy snack” table at our team tents with fruit, trail mix, granola bars. Please feel free to bring items to share. Food is not allowed inside the natatorium. Don’t forget to bring lots of water to stay hydrated.
• There is a chance of rain so please bring rain gear in the event the weather changes during the meet. If you have tarps or picnic blankets for the ground, please bring as well.

Morning meet (10 & Unders):

• Swimmers should arrive by 6:45 am.
• Warm up begins at 7:00 am.
• Meet begins at 8:00 am.
• We expect the meet to last until approximately 12:00 noon.

Afternoon meet (11 & Ups):

• Swimmers should arrive by 12:45 am.
• Warm up begins at 1:00 pm.
• Meet begins at 2:00 pm.
• We expect the meet to last until approximately 6:30 pm.

There are no regular age group practices left for this season. All Star qualifiers will be notified about additional practices. The league should have the All Star qualifiers call-up list available on Wednesday.

Don’t forget to RSVP for the End of Season Party & Awards on Wednesday, June 29 from 5:30 pm to 8:00 pm. You can also contribute to the Coaches’ Gift in SwimTopia or via Zelle. Deadline to RSVP and contribute is Monday, June 27th.
