Marlins Minute 4/26/23
Hey Marlins!
Welcome to this seasons first edition of the “Marlins Minute”. We are TWO WEEKS away from our first practice for the 2023 season. Who’s ready to swim?!?!
LANE HELPERS
In order to be prepared for practice on May 10th, we need to hear from our lane helpers. You must be in, or entering, high school and able to be at the pool in May from about 4:20-6:30pm. Lane helpers are essential to helping our younger Marlins prepare for the season. You get volunteer hours and valuable coaching experience. Email me to get your swimmers name on the list.
STROKE JUDGES
You! Yes, YOU! Want a front row seat to the action in the pool during meets? Stroke Judges determine if a swimmer is legal in their strokes. You will get trained by the SHRSL President and will have plenty of support from our Board & other SJs. Email Shauna to get your name on the list. Find the schedule for league clinic dates here.
**Friendly reminder that April 30th is the last day you can participate in practices/meets with any non-SHRSL team**
