Hey hey Marlins! You thought you got rid of me for the year 😂

I attended the SHRSL meeting last week and wanted to share the preliminary schedule for the 2024 season. Many of us make travel & sleep away camp plans early, so this might help your scheduling. 

The league would like to do away with "virtual" meets, so that means 5 in person dual meets, along with MOC & AS! They would also like to bring back "Division winners", so we will likely be swimming teams within our same division (we are usually D2). 

MEET 1 May 28 (Tuesday because of Memorial Day holiday)
MEET 2 June 3
MEET 3 June 10
MEET 4 June 17
MEET 5 June 24
Meet of Champs - June 26/27 OR June 27/28 (leaning towards 27/28)
All Stars - July 1 OR July 2 OR July 3

We will have to deal with HISD being in school for the 1st 2 meets and that last week of June will be busy. As a league, we voted to work the schedule so we can continue to be done before July 4th.
