    Happy Monday Marlins!

    Meet #4 is AWAY against the undefeated First Colony Gators - 2475 Robinsons Ferry, Sugar Land, TX 77479. This pool is an 8-lane pool so the meet will run much faster!

    Monday, June 17 Timeline

    • 4:00p: Swimmers should arrive and check in with the tent parent at their age group tent.
    • 4:25p: Maplewood begins warm-up by age group
    • 5:00p: Meet begins. Let’s go Marlins!

    What to Bring

    • Plenty of water to stay well hydrated and healthy snacks
    • Sunscreen
    • Activities/Games to keep your swimmer occupied between events
    • Lawn chairs

    Parent Volunteers

    • WE MUST FILL THE FOLLOWING SHIFTS
      • ONE Data 2nd half
      • THREE 7/8 Boys Tent parents
      • THREE 9/10 Boys Tent parents
      • TWO Ready Bench 2nd half
      • ONE Scribe 1st half & TWO Scribes 2nd half
      • ***THREE STROKE JUDGES***
      • TWO Timers 1st half & THREE timers 2nd half
    • 1st shift volunteers are Events 1-34 and 2nd shift volunteers are Events 35-70
    • What does my shift do? Look HERE.
    • If you are unable to make your shift, please find your own replacement.

    Meet Layout

    Maplewood can set up tents on the tennis court side of the pool. Most teams like to set up between the lake and the tennis courts for shade and easy access to the side gate to get on deck. Here is a flow map -https://fcgators.s3.amazonaws.com/Gators.

    Parking

    Families can park on the street off Robinson’s Ferry, Grants River Circle, Bent River Drive, Williams Grant Street, or in the parking lot at the other Colony Grant pool just south of this pool.     Concessions Boy Scout Troop 828 is providing meals/concessions for us this season. The boys cooking and serving the food will earn the profits of the sales towards their trip to Scout Camp during the summer. They will be located in the parking lot. They will be taking cash as well as cards.
