Here we are -- last regular season meet! It is always bittersweet when the season comes to a close. Let's close out strong Marlins!

Meet #5 is AWAY against the Shadow Creek Tsunamis - 12115 S. Clear Lake Loop Pearland, TX 77584. We will go to Whataburger at 11025 Shadow Creek Pkwy after the meet to celebrate. Hope to see you there!

Monday, June 24 Timeline

• 4:00p: Swimmers should arrive and check in with the tent parent at their age group tent.
• 4:30p: Maplewood begins warm-up by age group
• 5:00p: Meet begins. Let’s go Marlins!
  • The meet will follow the regular order of events.

Parent Volunteers

• WE HAVE HAD A DEVIL OF A TIME FILLING SHIFTS THIS YEAR. If your swimmers tent does not have adequate volunteers, you are responsible for getting your swimmer to their race. As a heads up, there will be changes made to the volunteer requirements next year. Needed for this Monday...
  • THREE 7/8 Boys Tent parents
  • ONE 7/8 Girls Tent parent
  • TWO 9/10 Boys Tent parents
  • FOUR 9/10 Girls Tent parents (zero are signed up)
  • ONE 11/12 Girls Tent parent
  • ONE Ready Bench 2nd half
  • TWO Scribes 2nd half
• 1^st shift volunteers are Events 1-34 and 2^nd shift volunteers are Events 35-70

Meet Layout

Maplewood will set up outside the gate on the left side of the pool near the volleyball courts/playground. Shade is limited so we will have our tents. Please ask your swimmers not to play in the sand at the volleyball courts before swimming. See attachment.

Parking

No parking on Clear Lake Loop (this is the street in front of the pool). Parking is available along Half Moon Bay or at Brothers Elementary across from the pool.

Concessions

They will have one food truck (Magnolia Grill) and an Ice Cream truck. Maybe pack some snacks & drinks!

Spectators

There is not a lot of extra space inside the pool area so they ask that spectators only come in to watch their swimmers' races and then go back outside the fence. There are no spectator chairs allowed inside. Spectator area is to the right when you enter the pool.

Monday is our last regular season practice! There will be no practice or clinics on Tuesday. Stay tuned for information regarding call ups for Meet of Champs and practice times for those participants on Weds & Thurs. 

MOC is this Friday, June 28th - 8am for 10 & under and 2pm for 11 & up. All Stars is July 2nd with the same timeline. See attachment.

END OF SEASON TEAM PARTY is this Wednesday, June 26th from 5:30-8pm. RSVP & Pay here. Please also consider contributing to a cash gift for our amazing coaches.
