Hey hey Marlin Family!

SAVE THE DATE for 2025 swim team registration:

• Returning Families - March 3-14
• Maplewood Neighborhood Residents (new to the team) - March 15-17
• All NEW Families - March 18-25

**FYI we plan to have registration in February next year (per request from the league)

Key dates to note -- all are subject to change before the season begins, but this is as close to nailed down as we have at this time. Website will be updated soon. 

• May 7 - 1st day of practice
• May 16 - Team Kick-off party
• May 18 - parent meeting & team photo
• May 20 - Texas Swim Shop at practice with team suits
• June 20 - Breakfast with coaches (ages 13 & up)
• June 24 or 25 - End of season team party
• Dual meet dates - May 27 (possibly Saturday, May 31 due to HISD schedule), June 2, 9, 16 & 23
• Meet of Champs June 26 or 27 - All Stars July 1 or 2

COACHING STAFF

Coach Gabby recently accepted a nursing gig at MD Anderson and will no longer be coaching. We wish her the absolute best in her new career!

Our new Head Coach for this summer is James Douglas. Coach James comes to us from Saint Thomas Episcopal and Little Swimsters swim school.

Assistant Coaches are Amber Alvarez, Cecilia Grand & Gabriel Villarreal. We also have Joseph Lee on as a Junior Coach. If you have a swimmer age 16+, we have room for 1 or 2 more junior coaches. We are also looking to fill our volunteer lane helper spots now! Be on the lookout for official coach introductions soon.
