    END OF SEASON TID BITS

Happy Wednesday all! How 'bout these 4-0 Marlins?!?!? 🥳💜🥳

The last couple weeks of swim team are jam packed and go by FAST, so I figured I'd get some info out now...and then remind you later.

    • Breakfast with the Coaches this Friday is during the 10-11am practice time and is for 11 & up swimmers only. You should have received an email with payment instructions. 10 & under have their regular morning practice this day!
    • Last dual meet on Monday, June 22nd AT Sienna. Think sunshine thoughts for that day & please step in to fill volunteer shifts (reminder that 1 swimmer = 3 shifts & 2+ swimmers = 5 shifts).
    • Tues June 23 & Weds June 24 will be regular practice days (no stroke clinic Tuesday). Coaches will use this time to fine tune strokes, starts & turns leading into Thursdays Meet of Champs.
    • Tuesday, June 23rd is our End of Season PARTY from 6-9pm. Swimmers meal is covered - parents & non-swimmer siblings is $15. We will have burgers & grilled chicken from Old Hickory, Canes chicken fingers plus chips & drinks. Please bring your favorite non-melting dessert to share. You can RSVP & pay in Swimtopia.
    • Want to be in an adult relay at the party? Get on the list HERE.
    • Have you been thrilled with swim team this year? We are taking end of season donations to cover bonuses for our DREAM TEAM of coaches and a few other EOS costs to close out the 2026 season! Please send donation via Zelle to [email protected] -- put EOS donation in the notes. Donations are tax deductible!
    • League TOP TIMES are posted through Meet 3. These are for the whole league - waiting to get division 2 top times!
    • Meet of Champs (MOC) is on Thursday, June 25th and All Stars is Tuesday, June 30th. Both are at Don Cook Natatorium in Sugar Land.

    BASIC MEET OF CHAMPS INFO

    • Your child does NOT have to swim all events, in fact we encourage you to think ahead and ask not to be heated in any stroke they definitely do not want to do or can not do. Coaches reserve the right to ask swimmers to swim anything they feel will benefit the team.
    • In order to attend MOC at all, you must have competed in 2 regular season meets (not including time trials). Any stroke you want to swim, you must have at least 1 "clean" time (meaning you can't swim butterfly at MOC if you have been DQ'd every time you swam it).
    • Not everyone will be in a MOC relay -- we can only enter A & B relays.
    • MOC is broken up into a 10 & under meet (starts at 8am) and an 11 & up meet (starts at 2pm). If you're one of the lucky few with kids in both age groups, be ready for a long, hot, awesome day!
    • Please declare for meet 5 and MOC now and be sure to make note of anything you need the coaches to know in the notes section.

    ALL STARS

    • You must qualify for All Stars as one of the top 16 times. The 1st place finisher in all divisions automatically qualifies, and then the next 12 top times across all 4 divisions.
    • Relays are a bit different because we can swap out swimmers, so even if you did not qualify for an individual event or even swim in the relay that qualified for AS, you may still get called up. Be prepared!

Plenty more information to come, I just wanted to get ahead of the game! See attached graphics.
