Once parking is full in the HOME and VISITOR LOTS of Mercer Stadium, a SHUTTLE SERVICE will be provided for families from the First Colony Mall and AMC Movie Theatres. See attached graphic. If you have swimmers in both meets, I suggest staying onsite instead of leaving and coming back.
- Note about attached heat sheets -- there could be some changes to relay swimmers. Please know that coaches do their best to heat the relays and sometimes things change.
- Seating:
- All swimmers will be set up outside on the right side between the natatorium and the baseball field. Look for our purple tents (thanks Cameron for setting up).
- With 2 divisions (9 teams total) in the building at the same time, it will be packed - aka loud & hot. Most parents bring chairs to set up outside with their kiddos.
- As a courtesy to other spectators, please do not stand at the rail while watching events.

- Talk with your younger swimmers about this pool being very different than the pools we swim at during the regular season - deep, cold, loud & fun!
- Food is not allowed inside the natatorium. Swimmers are highly encouraged to bring healthy snacks to keep their energy up between events! Also, please don’t forget to bring lots of water to stay hydrated.
- Please bring anything you have that can help your swimmer stay entertained and avoid heat exhaustion (neck fans will be helpful).
- There will be 4 food trucks parked outside the nat: Kona Ice, Tom's Coffee, Foreign Policy, KC Dawgs.
AWARDS
The top 16 places in each event will earn an award. The top 8 swimmers get medals and places 9-16 get special MOC ribbons.
- Awards will not be handed to individual swimmers. We will designate a parent volunteer to retrieve awards and distribute back at the team tent area.
FRIDAY PRACTICE -- we will not know all call ups by Friday, so coaches will offer two practices for any auto-advance swimmers and anyone else who wants to show up! 10 & under - 9:15-10am and 11 & up - 10-11am. All Star qualifiers will be notified about Mondays practice this weekend.
Oh, and.....pppssssst....don't forget to sign up for a MOC volunteer shift 🥳
Let's goooooooooooo Marlins!
~Mindy~
oh, also... What about All Stars?
There are 4 divisions in the league. The winner in each event, in each division automatically advances to All Stars (4 swimmers/4 relays). Then – the next 12 fastest swimmers in each individual event, and 4 fastest relays, across the league are called up for All Stars, for a total of 16 swimmers per event and 8 relays per event. So – even if you don’t win an event at MOC, a strong 2nd, 3rd, or even 4th place finish may earn you a spot at All Stars. The All Stars meet is ONE MEET with all swimmers combined.
